Never Forget Where You Parked!

Previously, I introduced my coworkers to web standards and usability design. My new goal is to make sure they incorporate that into every project.

If you’re into software development or web design, you must realize that cellphones are the future.
Google seems to think so too. They developed an open-source cellphone operating system named Android and have created Android Developer Challenge to help promote it.
Design a stellar application taking advantage of Androids features and you could be one of fifty teams or individuals to win $25,000. You keep all the rights, just as long as Google can use to app to promote Android’s features. There’s bigger and better prizes if you manage to do that too. Much bigger.
Unfortunately, there’s only one week left. Generally, I’d recommend spending more than a week on user research alone, however in this case, you can probably come up with a proof-of-concept for a general audience of cellphone users.
If you have a project and a Wii remote, you can make something very similar to a multi-touch whiteboard for very little money.
It looks awesome!
